How to maintain and maintain the household solar power system

solar energy generationAfter the system is installed, the PV modules require regular inspection and maintenance, especially during the warranty period. To ensure optimum performance of components, the following maintenance measures are recommended:
Appearance Observation Please carefully inspect the components for appearance defects. Focus on the following points:
1. Whether the component glass is damaged;
2. Whether there is a sharp object touching the surface of the component;
3. Whether the components are blocked by obstacles or foreign objects;
4. Whether there is corrosion near the grid line of the battery (this corrosion is caused by the damage of the packaging material on the surface of the module during installation or transportation, resulting in the penetration of water vapor into the module);
5. Observe whether there are burn-through traces on the backplane of the module;
6. Check whether the fixing screws between the component and the bracket are loose or damaged, and adjust or repair them in time.
The cleaning of the clean solar power system, the key points need to pay attention to the following points:
1. The accumulation of dust or dirt on the surface of the components will reduce the power output. Regular cleaning work should be carried out once a year as much as possible (the specific interval depends on the conditions of the installation site). Use a soft cloth, dry or damp, for cleaning. It is not recommended to use mineral water for cleaning, so as not to leave dirt on the glass surface;
2. Under no circumstances shall materials with rough surfaces be used for component cleaning;
3. In order to reduce potential electric shock or burns, Yisou Energy recommends cleaning photovoltaic modules in the early morning or evening when the light is not strong and the module temperature is low, especially for areas with high temperature;
4. Do not attempt to clean photovoltaic modules with features such as broken glass or exposed wires, as there is a risk of electric shock.
preventive maintenance
For inspection of connectors and cables, the following preventive maintenance is recommended every six months:
1. Check the sealant of the junction box to make sure there are no cracks or gaps;
2. Check the PV modules for signs of aging. Including possible rodent damage, weathering, and whether all connectors are tight and corroded. Check that the components are well grounded.
