Lectures on solar energy environmental protection knowledge (special session for schools)
Hong Kong has set a goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050 and has announced a series of plans to achieve it. Many schools have participated in the "Electricity Harvesting Society" program organized by the Government's Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Summer Institute and the Environmental Protection Agency, and have started the school's rooftop solar power generation teaching program.
However, due to the budget constraints of the "Electricity Mining Society", each school can only install 12kw solar panels at most, which is of limited help to the school's environmental protection teaching. Many schools have a lot of space on the roof of the school building. Using the unused roof space to install solar panels can not only add practical equipment to the school's STEM teaching, but also obtain additional STEM teaching funds through the renewable energy feed-in tariff program. In some schools, the school buildings are in disrepair and have water leakage problems. They can also install solar panel projects to allow contractors to perform roof waterproofing projects free of charge, saving the procedure and time of funding application.
In order to better promote environmental protection teaching in schools and support the environmental protection cause in Hong Kong with practical actions, the Hong Kong Solar Energy Application Association invites you to participate in the online seminar Zoom Meeting:
Lectures on solar energy environmental protection knowledge (property management session)
Hong Kong has set a goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050 and has announced a series of plans to achieve it. Many housing estates have participated in the government's "Renewable Energy Feed-in Tariff" program. Nowadays, environmental protection and sustainable development are increasingly integrated into people's daily life. Green and smart properties are the general trend of property management development in recent years.
In order to promote green properties to make good use of renewable energy, solar panels are installed on the unused roof space. Not only can it bring a positive energy-saving impression of green environmental protection to the property, but also additional electricity funds can be obtained through the renewable energy feed-in tariff plan. Some properties have roofs that are in disrepair and have water leakage problems. By installing solar panels, contractors can perform roof waterproofing projects free of charge, saving the process and time of funding applications.
